Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 October 2026

All Set DJ (“All Set DJ”, “we”, “us”) is an online tool that DJs and DJ companies use to plan events with their clients, at allsetdj.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Two kinds of people use All Set DJ:

  • DJ businesses — the owners and DJs who sign up, sign in and pay for a subscription.
  • Clients — people planning an event with a DJ who uses All Set DJ. Clients don’t have an account; they open a planning link their DJ sends them.

If you’re planning an event with your DJ

Your DJ decides what to ask you and what to keep. The information about your event — including everything you enter on your planning page — is your DJ business’s, and we store and process it on their behalf, so they can use All Set DJ. How your DJ uses it is covered by their own privacy practices.

To see, correct or delete information about your event, contact your DJ first. You can also write to us at support@allsetdj.com, and we’ll work with your DJ to help.

What we collect

From DJ businesses

  • Account details: your name, email address and business name, and the business’s logo if you upload one. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider and stored only in scrambled (hashed) form — we never see it.
  • Team details: the names and email addresses of DJs a business owner invites.
  • Billing details: your plan, number of seats and subscription status. Your card details and billing address are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor; we never receive your full card number.
  • Events and planning: event dates, types and venues; your clients’ names, email addresses and phone numbers; and running orders, questions, notes, song lists, templates and song suggestions.

From clients, through a planning link

  • What you enter on your planning page: details about the event (such as the guest count, start time, a venue contact and notes), your answers to your DJ’s questions, songs, notes on songs and links to songs, and whether you’ve marked your plan as finished.
  • Contact details your DJ records for you — usually your name, email address and phone number.

From everyone who visits

  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and sign-in providers record standard logs — your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time, and sign-ins — which we use for security and to fix problems.
  • Analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page visits and measure how quickly pages load. They don’t use cookies and aren’t used to identify you or follow you to other websites.
  • Cookies: we use only cookies the site needs to work — one keeps a DJ signed in, and a short-lived one connects a sign-up to its checkout. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

When you import a playlist file or paste a list of song links, we read the songs out of it and keep only the songs. The file itself isn’t kept.

How we use it

  • To run All Set DJ: showing events and plans, letting clients plan through their link, and making PDF and CSV exports.
  • To send the emails the service needs: password resets, invitations to join a DJ team, and — only if a DJ business switches them on — planning reminders to its clients, on the days the DJ chooses. A reminder carries the DJ business’s name, and replies go to the DJ. Reminders stop when the plan is complete, when the client presses “We’re finished”, or when the DJ turns them off.
  • To bill subscriptions and work out sales tax.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To answer you when you write to us.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We don’t sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. We don’t use the content of your plans to train artificial intelligence models.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run parts of All Set DJ, and give each only what it needs:

  • Supabase — our database and sign-in.
  • Vercel — hosting, server logs and analytics.
  • Stripe — payments, subscriptions and sales tax.
  • Resend — delivering email.
  • Zoho — our support inbox, when you email us.
  • Spotify — when someone searches for a song or pastes a Spotify link, the search words or the link are sent to Spotify to find the song. Nothing about the person searching is sent with them.
  • YouTube, SoundCloud and Vimeo — when someone pastes a link from one of these services, we ask that service for the song’s title.

Album covers and video thumbnails are loaded straight from Spotify’s and YouTube’s image servers, so when your browser shows one, those services can see your IP address, as with any image on the web.

Inside a DJ business, the owner can see every event, and each DJ sees the events assigned to them. Anyone who has a planning link can see and change that event’s plan, which is why the planning page asks clients to share it only with people helping organise the day.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or All Set DJ, or as part of a sale or merger of All Set DJ, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

Where it’s stored

Your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use All Set DJ from another country, it will be transferred to the United States.

How long we keep it

  • Accounts and planning: for as long as the DJ business’s account exists. A cancelled subscription keeps its events, so the business can come back. To have an account and everything in it deleted, email us.
  • Events: a DJ business can delete an event at any time, which deletes its plan, songs and planning links with it.
  • Planning links stop working 30 days after the event, or 90 days after they were made, whichever is later. The DJ can switch one off sooner.
  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Logs and backups: kept by our providers for a limited time, then deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or send you a copy, by emailing support@allsetdj.com. We may need to confirm it’s really you first — usually by replying from the email address on the account. We won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your state’s law, and we’ll honour them as that law requires.

DJs can change their name and password themselves on their Account page, and business owners can change the business’s name and logo there. If you’re a client, we’ll usually pass your request to your DJ, since your event’s information is theirs to manage.

To stop planning reminders, open your plan and press “We’re finished”, or ask your DJ.

Security

Every connection to All Set DJ is encrypted. Each business’s information is kept separate from every other business’s in our database, passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and never stored by us in readable form, and event access codes are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, though, and if a breach affects your information we’ll tell you as the law requires.

Children

All Set DJ is made for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. DJ accounts are for people 18 and over. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell DJ businesses by email or in the app before it takes effect.
